Visiting VBC

Visiting any place for the very first time can make one feel a little apprehensive, but we want to put you at ease. Your first visit to Victory Baptist will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and “at home”!

VBC is located on the western end of Scott Ridge Road (307 East) -just a quarter mile above Freedom Homes and at the opposite end of the road from the Grandview Country Club. As you enter our parking, lot you may see our Visitor Parking section. Please feel free to use this priority parking reserved just for you. Our main entrance can be reached by ascending the steps or handicap accessible ramp. This entrance will bring you into the foyer where one of our ushers will meet you and direct you to the right classes and services. They can also answer other questions you may have.

If you are attending during the 10:00 hour, there are Sunday School classes for children, teens and adults. These classes are smaller group settings where you are invited to meet people and hear a Sunday School lesson with others in your same age group or life stage. The best way to get to know people at Victory Baptist Church is to be a part of one of these classes.

In the 11:00 hour the adults (6th grade and up) attend the worship service where they enjoy the beautiful and inspiring music of the choir, orchestra, ensembles, and soloists. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Pastor Roberts. This service is a little over one hour in length. During the service you will receive a visitor’s packet which contains some gifts for you as well as a “Let’s Get Acquainted” card. Please fill out this card and place it in the offering plate or hand it to one of our ushers at the close of the service. Doing so enables us to connect with you and your spiritual needs on a more personal level.

We are honored that you have taken the time to find out more about our church and look forward to seeing you at one of our services in the near future!
